The cost for both kinds of photos is $10. The Passport Agency gives the following recommendations for attire and facial expression: The customer should be in normal street attire, without hat or dark glasses. Eyeglasses worn on a daily basis can be worn for the photo. The customer should have a natural expression, mouth closed, and eyes open and looking directly ahead.
As of April 30, 2011, the Oceana County Clerk's office will no longer process passport applications. The Register of Deeds office in the courthouse will now process all passport applications. They can be contacted at (231) 873-4158. Photographs are still taken in the Clerk's office for a fee of $10.
